Tristan Casara, known as The Avener, is a DJ, electronic music producer, and musician who began studying classical piano at the Nice Conservatory at the age of five.
Ten years ago, his debut album The Wanderings of the Avener, featuring the single Fade Out Lines—a rework of a Phoebe Killdeer song—became a global hit (over 1.5 million copies sold), propelling him to the forefront of the electronic music scene. Awards and certifications followed: triple platinum in France, platinum and gold in more than ten other countries, and a 2015 Victoire de la Musique award. He then embarked on a tour across some of the world’s most prestigious clubs and festivals.
In 2020, he released his second album Heaven, introducing tracks like Beautiful featuring Bipolar Sunshine and Under The Waterfall with M.I.L.K. The artist then unveiled Quando Quando, a track true to The Avener’s signature style, which has amassed over 27 million streams on digital platforms.
Following his latest summer release Alpaca, a reinterpretation of a White Stripes track, he has announced a return to the roots of what sparked his career: a love for dance music and DJ culture.
At the same time, this year marks the 10th anniversary of Fade Out Lines, celebrated with an EP titled A Decade of Fade Out Lines, featuring current top DJs such as the widely acclaimed Francis Mercier. The celebration will culminate in two sold-out shows at the Olympia.
Now, all eyes are on The Avener’s highly anticipated third album, set for release in the warmer months. The mission remains unchanged: to return to the origins—dance and house music. With Lunae Veritatis (STAY), featuring trending Australian band DRAX Project, The Avener reaffirms the foundations of his electronic production craft. To accompany this release, a spectacular, fully 3D-animated video enhances the immersive energy of the track.
